EXPERIENCE

Some professional or personal experience supporting individuals with special needs (or related experience) is required.

LOCATION

Homebased in Santa Monica. Staff must be willing to drive to Sherman Oaks, Pico-Robertson, LAX area, and elsewhere.

SCHEDULE (Availability Requirements)

All shifts (24 / 7) available. Open Availability a plus. Full time or part time schedules to choose from.

START DATE

As soon as possible

HOURLY RATE OF PAY

Starting rate is $20 per hour.

DETAILS

Knowledge of ASL a plus (but not required). Willingness to learn on the job some basic sign language for client with hearing loss (helpful). [NOTE : This is an Independent Living Services / Direct Support Professional position paid at $20.00 per hour. It is not for a Certified ASL Translator. Staff for our ASL client may also occasionally be working with other clients 1 : 1 at various locations.]

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years of age;
• Must be a licensed driver for a minimum of three years;
• Must have an insured vehicle with your name listed as an authorized driver;
• Must be willing to drive with a client in your vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided);
• Must be willing to perform "personal hygiene" tasks (including toileting assistance, if occasionally needed).
