Field Service Technician

Job Summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform hands-on service, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at customer sites. This role involves installing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operations. The Field Service Technician will travel to various customer locations, deliver exceptional service, and act as a technical resource and brand representative for Xylem. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and enjoys problem-solving in dynamic field environments. Ideal candidates may have experience in HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, diesel or mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment and materials
• Execute field service activities including equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proactively identify and resolve equipment safety or performance issues
• Ensure both company- and customer-owned equipment are operated safely and effectively
• Foster a safe working environment and contribute to a strong safety culture
• Communicate effectively with customers, representing Xylem with professionalism
• Maintain and safeguard company tools, vehicles, and assets
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet service goals
