The Parks Senior Living provides short-term and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in the Odessa, Texas community. The Parks is a 14-acre campus offering a continuum of care : ILF, ALF, and SNF.

We are dedicated to creating a family-like atmosphere for our residents and employees look forward to coming to work and delivering the highest quality of healthcare services possible. Our therapy department is in-house and provides therapists / assistants with flexibility and learning opportunities, and we are expanding our team.

Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities :

Develop and implement a Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.

Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.

Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.

Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.

Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.

Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow-up.

Maintain productivity standards as expected by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :

Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy CFY
