Hello House For Women
is a great opportunity for candidates who are passionate about working with individuals on their path to recovery. The 24-bed co-occurring program in Dorchester offers trauma-informed and integrated clinical support services for women living with substance abuse disorders and mental health diagnoses.
As Program Director,
you’ll have a dynamic and critical role
overseeing the day to day program services to promote sensitive and therapeutic treatment for clients in recovery of substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders. As Program Director you will ensure the coordination, delivery, and documentation of services are completed, informed by best-practices, and produce high quality outcomes for clients in the recovery home while also supporting the professional growth of a staff of recovery specialists and clinicians.
Program Director Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the residential staff ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
Directly supervise the clinical supervisor and program manager to who oversee the clinical team and residential recovery team to ensure that the delivery of program services are being completed.
Facilitate and monitor the residential census and program occupancy with the intake clinician and centralized referral process. Responsible for the workflow of admissions and discharges, which includes state-funded reporting, EHR management, and messaging to program staff.
Monitor and manage the program budget to ensure alignment with organization and sustainability of program operations.
Lead and assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for program staff, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, selecting qualified individuals, and ensuring alignment with organizational values, compliance standards, and staffing needs.
Develop and maintain strong, positive, and collaborative relationships with staff and leadership across VOAMASS; specifically, our behavioral health service programs and veteran programs which are fully integrated within BHS. Ensure that VOAMASS’s integrated behavioral healthcare model is being encouraged, enforced, and supported across programs.
Complete and monitor that completion of required clinical documentation through our EHR system.
Develop and utilize tools for evaluating program performance and ensure that all programming is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of funding agencies, best practices, and established Volunteers of America Policies and Procedures
Ensure that staff are completing training programs and are increasing proficiency in evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements; support clinical skill development, and promote fidelity to treatment models across all levels of care.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree preferred, but not required.
At least five years of multifaceted substance abuse disorder treatment experience.
A minimum of two years of management experience, preferably in a residential treatment and / or behavioral health setting.
Ability to train and provide services thorough a diverse set of treatment modalities (including but not limited to : Harm reduction, Medication Assisted Treatment, and Trauma Informed Care).
Computer proficiency in electronic health records, Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
