Description :
Network and Systems Support Specialist. Working one-on-one with IT Infrastructure lead
Responsibilities :
- Support LAN infrastructure across local campus
- Support site-specific applications
- Monitor and direct trouble support processes
- Vulnerability reporting and remediation
- Assisting with Operational Technology Support
- Participate in enhancement projects across campus
- On-call support
Techinical Skills Required :
IT troubleshooting, knowledge of network infrastructure- Familiarity with TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANsKnowledge of Microsoft PCs & ServersKnowledge of support like Service Now, CyberArk, Remote Desktop, SQL Database experienceExperience with various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.) for server and application support.Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automating routine tasksExperience with SQL queries and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).Soft Skills Required :
Strong interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, punctual and dependableEducation & Experience Required :
Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer sciences or equivalent experience
