Email Marketing & Deliverability Specialist
As an Email Marketing & Deliverability Specialist, you'll turn cold prospects into warm conversations through smart strategy, clean execution, and rock-solid deliverability. Your day starts by making sure our emails actually hit the inbox, reviewing placement, engagement trends, and catching red flags before they cost us conversions. From there, you'll build and optimize nurture sequences that move prospects through the journey, partner with marketing teams on sharp segmentation plays, run fast A / B tests to level up performance, and keep our email infrastructure healthy, compliant, and high-performing.
Responsibilities :
- Warm up cold prospects and guide them through targeted, automated nurture journeys that convert.
- Build and optimize email drip sequences based on engagement data and customer pain points.
- Monitor deliverability metrics (inbox placement, bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes) and proactively fix issues.
- Maintain impeccable list hygiene : clean lists regularly and uphold strong opt-in practices.
- Implement and manage authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Stay current with deliverability best practices, ISP filtering updates, and email regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Run ongoing A / B tests to refine subject lines, content, and sending strategies.
Role Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.6+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally with a focus on cold outreach / prospecting.Strong track record managing cold email campaigns across multiple ESPs.Excellent written communication, proofreading, and editing skills.Deep expertise in deliverability tools, ESPs, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).Solid understanding of compliance frameworks like GDPR and CAN-SPAM.Experience managing list hygiene, segmentation, and targeting strategies.An analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action.Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort digging into technical issues.
