SUMMARY

Support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for a team of Digital Training Team (DTT) SMEs in various subject matter areas including : M2 Intel C2 Fires Protection and Sustainment excluding the Warfighting Function (WFF) that the Lead represents.
• Support ARNG unit commanders and staff from battalion through division by providing doctrinal workshops over-the-shoulder training and coaching during individual and collective event support at unit-designated training sites.
• Serve as an SME within a specific WFF participating in exercise design planning preparation execution and assessment activities and providing expertise in military Live Virtual Constructive and Gaming (LVC-G) training methods and procedures including simulations stimulations and other Mission Command Training enablers.
• Assist in the development of scenarios script writing tactical orders and other supporting Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) products.
• Provide support to Division and Battalion units for the WFF specialty during live virtual constructive and gaming training.
• Act as an advisor trainer and SME for division and below units during planning through execution to include After Action Review (AAR) of collective events.
• Responsible for coordinating the design of scenario-based exercises to support unit commanders training objectives.
• Coordinate specific scripting of master scenario events list (MSEL) storyboard or simulation control injects that are integrated with and support training exercises and constructive staff training in a live-virtual-constructive environment.
• Coach teach and train units during the conduct of STAFFEXs to assist the commander in achieving their training objectives.
• Plan for and execute constructive exercises in coordination with other elements of the MCTSP for ARNG units to provide commanders and staff the opportunity to exercise operations orders developed during collective training events.
• Provide on-site honest and relevant feedback to unit Commanders and appropriate staff members in the form of informal discussions.
• Prepare or provide input into a Final Exercise Report (FER) that addresses the planning preparation and execution of DTT supported training events.
• Conduct in-depth research on doctrine theater specific operations lessons learned and newly developed tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs) used in the development of MSEL or simulation control injects that accurately replicate the operational environment that the training is designed for. Must determine the appropriate exercise inject methods and entry point.
• Ensure unit leadership understands Mission Training Complex (MTC) capabilities regarding operations training technical support simulations and distribution methodologies.
• May have to synchronize MCTSP training assets in the absence of OST / EST including generation of reports leading up to and during collective events.
• Responsible for administratively and operationally leading a team of skilled trainers and ensuring mission accomplishment to the highest of standards.
• Ensure delivery of reports.
• Ensure adherence to company and site policies practices and procedures.
• Safeguard and maintain company and Government furnished equipment materials and facilities.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 75%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state drivers license and be insurable on the companys automobile insurance policy. Driving with or without accommodation may be required when traveling for training and / or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 75%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment occasionally outdoors. Occasional exposure to natural conditions existing at different locations around the US.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for short periods of time bending kneeling stooping crouching lifting and carrying boxes pouches and bags weighing up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands / fingers for handling and working with small objects.
