Accounts Payable Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor payments, tax reporting, and internal communication. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer-focused, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly corporate payment runs, including approved invoices, employee reimbursements, donations, program-related payments, and insurance payments
• Prepare and process A / P invoices, ensuring accurate general ledger coding, discounts, sales tax treatment, EFT applicability, and correct 1099 / 1042 classifications
• Reconcile monthly BOA credit card statements in SAP to match automatic bank deductions
• Monitor and respond to emails in shared accounts (APInvoices and APInquiries), addressing questions on invoice status, payments, and coding
• Use IRS portal for vendor TIN matching (W9 compliance) and the Connecticut state portal for Sales & Use Tax payments
• Maintain the Vendor Master File, including the setup of new vendors with accurate classification, tax reporting status, banking details, and payment preferences
• Securely manage confidential material related to payments and vendor data
• Maintain departmental spreadsheets and databases for reporting and tracking
• Distribute workload across AP Specialists and ensure cross-training for coverage and knowledge sharing
• Assist with special projects and provide support across the AP department as needed

The base salary range for this position is $59K - $91K annually, depending on experience.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
