Our team is looking for a Cost Controller based out of Houston, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity working a 9 / 80, hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of how to manage and control project costs and establish a reliable cost control system, work breakdown structures and cost breakdown structure implementation.

About you :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction management, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5 years' experience in cost controls, project controls, or project management
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills

About the role :

  • Ensure compliance with internal cost control reporting standards
  • Support Project Management team in decision-making to ensure projects remain within budgets
  • Cost Management, developing and implementing a CBS, track project expenditures and financials
  • Prepare accurate and timely cost reports
  • Identify cost variances, investigate potential overruns, and propose mitigation measures
  • Develop cost forecasts for future phases of the project to support effective planning and resource allocation
