The Role :

We are looking for our next Plant Maintenance Specialist within our Maintenance Team. The Plant Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance activities, preventive and predictive maintenance on the sites' manufacturing and process equipment. Daily tasks include performing maintenance in the areas of rotating equipment, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

This position is located Newark, Delaware.

Compensation :

The current salary for this role is $42.50 until fully qualified, and then increased $47.22. This a union position and is a non-exempt hourly role.

What You'll Do :

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective paert
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instrument
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Ability to read blueprints
• Lubricate and cleans parts
• Start devices to test their performance
• Bends piping and tubing
• Repairs and replaces parts on valves, traps, pressure regulators, etc
• Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment
