Your Role

As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you'll receive comprehensive training and support from our expert team, allowing you to thrive and manage your lifestyle effectively.

Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through various channels including video, phone, and chat.

Prepare accurate and thorough tax returns for clients.

Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional services.

Provide essential support to clients in dealing with the IRS.

Cultivate teamwork and collaboration to meet office goals.

Enhance your tax expertise through continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service or retail is advantageous.

A history of thriving in fast-paced environments.

Availability for 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

What You Bring

Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment.

Comfort with virtual communication tools.

Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing.

Fulfillment of all IRS and applicable state requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent education.
