Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to assist our residents in daily living activities, creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive.

Job Summary :

  • As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, helping to maintain a clean living environment, and participating in the nutritional, personal care, and social aspects of our residents' lives.
  • You may also offer advice to residents and their families on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities to help support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Daily Living Support : Provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.

    • Meal Assistance :

  • Help serve meals at mealtimes and snacks as needed.

    • Activities Program Participation :

  • Engage in and support the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents' quality of life.

    • Ongoing Training :

  • Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.

    • Certifications :

  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid training.

    • For Residents with Developmental Disabilities :

  • Align performance with the facility’s Program Design.
  • Complete specialized training for working with these residents.
  • Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.

    • What We Require :

  • Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance CPR / First Aid Certificate Negative TB Test and Health Screening   In-person work location at Glen Park at Boynton , located at 1250 Boynton St, Glendale, CA 91205.

    • Available Shifts :

  • AM Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM PM Shift :   2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM NOC Shift : 10 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM  Flexibility required; schedule may vary based on business needs.
