Are you early in your career and excited about growing into a high-impact technical role? Our team is looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience or internship exposure who has the passion, curiosity, and drive to be mentored into an Observability Engineer / Monitoring Architect. If you love solving problems, learning complex systems, and working with modern monitoring tools, this is a rare opportunity to start small and grow fast. About the Role This is an apprentice-style position designed for someone who wants to develop into a future leader in observability and monitoring strategy. You will start by supporting senior engineers, learning our tooling, and gradually taking ownership of projects as your skills grow. You do not need to know everything listed below today. You do need to bring curiosity, accountability, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment with a steep learning curve. What You’ll Do (Starting Responsibilities) Assist in evaluating monitoring needs across applications and infrastructure. Help build dashboards, alerts, and basic integrations in observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc.). Support Python automation tasks, data extraction, and small scripting assignments. Participate in performance investigations and root-cause analysis with senior team members. Document processes, standards, and monitoring requirements. Shadow and learn from senior architects on solution design and best practices. What You’ll Grow Into (Future Responsibilities as You Advance) Designing unified observability frameworks across business units. Architecting integrated monitoring ecosystems that unify logs, metrics, traces, and synthetic tests. Building automation, APIs, and custom integrations in Python. Driving enterprise-level performance optimization initiatives. Establishing governance, standards, and observability KPIs. Mentoring junior analysts and influencing cross-functional teams. Researching emerging tools and pushing innovation in the monitoring landscape. What We’re Looking For (Early Career Profile) You are a great fit if you have : A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields OR hands-on internship / projects in monitoring, cloud, DevOps, or scripting. 1–3 years of experience or academic exposure to system monitoring, cloud infrastructure, or technical operations (formal or informal). Basic knowledge of one or more observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc.)—proficiency will be developed here. Foundational Python scripting skills or strong willingness to learn quickly. Curiosity, resilience, and a love of solving technical problems. Strong communication skills, eagerness to ask questions, and comfort working with stakeholders. Desire to grow into a strategic, consultative, and eventually leadership-focused role. Soft Skills That Will Make You Successful A growth mindset—comfortable not knowing everything on day one. Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems. Adaptability to new tools, new processes, and ongoing technical change. Team-oriented attitude with the humility to learn and the drive to improve. Confidence to communicate clearly and professionally, even when learning. Why This Role Is Unique This job is intentionally designed for someone early in their career who wants to be mentored into an expert. You’ll have access to senior architects, structured development, and meaningful hands-on experience with enterprise systems—without needing to walk in as an expert on day one.
