Job Summary :

Our client is seeking an Automation Developer to join their team! This position is located in Denver, Colorado.

Duties :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our telecom and networking products, with a specific emphasis on DOCSIS, VoIP, and Wi-Fi features
  • Perform in-depth analysis of manual test cases and functional requirements to determine the optimal balance of test coverage for automation
  • Work with development and QA teams to gather information, understand product architecture, and design effective test plans
  • Develop, unit test, debug, and execute automated test cases to validate product functionality and performance
  • Research and implement solutions to automate test cases as early as possible in the software development lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation frameworks and tools, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and robust
  • Document test results, automation processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency
  • Facilitate review meetings with project stakeholders to discuss test plans, progress, and results
  • Support an offshore development team, tracking their work, providing technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with product managers and end-users to gather requirements and provide technical support

Desired Skills / Experience :

  • Proven experience with telecom products, including DOCSIS, VoIP features, and Wi-Fi
  • Extensive experience designing and developing automated test scripts for software and hardware products
  • Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards and protocols
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell scripting
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as : Selenium, Robot Framework, TestNG, etc.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines and tools such as : Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as : TCP / IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS

  • The approximate pay range for this position starting at $95,000 - $115,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
