As an Orthopedics Physician, you will be responsible for handling 24-hour trauma call, including complex fractures and hand trauma cases. The position allows for flexibility as on-call providers are not required to stay in-house. Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) is essential in managing trauma and hand surgery cases at Great Plains Orthopedics, located in Peoria, Illinois.

24-hour call 7a-7a

Level 1 trauma - cases from fractures including complex (acetabular / pelvic fractures) and hand trauma included (not micro cases)

Provider can be in their hotel room, and do not need to stay in-house.

Great Plains Orthopedics employs APP s for OR assist and Call. They are short 3 APPs at the present time, and they cover both Trauma and Hand, so when available they will definitely assist.
