What You Can Expect
Paragon 28, a Zimmer Bioment Company focused on orthopedic medical device for the foot and ankle, is hiring an Events Specialist. Under the direction of the Director of Tradeshows and Events, this position has an enhanced role in the planning and execution of event operations (logistic, administrative, etc.) for P28 meetings and events. These events may include, but are not limited to tradeshows, sales force and surgeon educational training programs and courses as well as specialty corporate events. This position is onsite at our facility in Englewood, Colorado.
How You'll Create Impact
- Responsible for assisting in the procurement, contracting and vendor relationship management.
- Establishes catering orders, housing arrangements, audio / visual and room set-up.
- Manages event registrations and room blocks for events.
- Execute events.
- Travels to and supports tradeshows.
- Works collaboratively to plan and execute required team functions.
- Provides onsite support for courses.
- Assist Manager with cross-functional departmental events.
- Ensures Smartsheet workflows are up to date.
- Completes post-event analysis including surveys, recaps, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assists with accounting and reporting expenses.
- Responsible for tracking all invoices and expenses related to events.
- Provides assistancein Marketing vendor processing and payment, including PO creation, obtaining vendor documentation forAPand coordination of payments and reconciliations.
- Functions as a point of contact for the registration paperwork, badges, tent cards, and additional paperwork.
- Ensures all Compliance guidelines / policies are followed, including management of Surgeon Expenses and monthly CMS reporting.
- Ensure Medical Education Manager is given all expense receipts where his card was used.
- Assist Coordinator with gathering receipts, and coding expenses.
- Ensure personal expense report issubmittedon time.
- Performs duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Background
Bachelor's Degree preferred.2-5+ years of experience in hands-on event coordination and executionAble to manage multiple, detailed projects and prioritize urgent needs simultaneously.Excellent planning, organization,communication,and analytical skillsStrong collaboration skills and willingness to be a "team player."Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to travel up to 50%; trips can last up to 7 days.Travel Expectations
