Job Title :

  • Food Service Reports to :                   Facility Manager FLSA Status :                  Part-Time / Non-exempt Department :                Residential Services Job Summary :   Passages to Recovery is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals for our residential population.
  • This role involves adhering to strict dietary guidelines and food safety standards while being sensitive to the unique needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines.
  • Comfortable working with a Criminal Justice Population.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Serve meals, accommodating special dietary needs.
  • Assist in inventory management and food supply ordering.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or Serve Safe certification preferred.
  • Experience in food service, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Requirements :

  • Serve Safe certification at the time of hire.
  • Ability to obtain ACT 33 & 34 Clearances.
  • Valid PA Driver’s License preferred.

    • Physical Requirements :
