HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

~ Shift : 12 hours, days

~ Employment Type : Local Contract

Shift - Variable :

One is three 12 hour shifts from 0900-2130 and the other one is three 12 hrs shifts from 1000-2230. OT available.

Call : A

pproximately 5x per 4 week schedule and would include 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Number of Beds -

Number of Staff – 2 : 1

Type of staff :

Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 8 Staff RN, 1 PCA

Night Shift – 2 Staff RN On-call

Patient Ratios – 2 : 1

Type of equipment – Tele monitoring , Post Cardiac, Cath Devices, Ortho Devices

EMR -EPIC

Typical Procedures : Recovery of deep sedation, and management of post procedural devices.

Must Haves :

• An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
• A recent 12 months of PACU RN experience in an acute hospital setting
• AK RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
