Are you an experienced Accounting Manager looking for a challenging role in the Construction industry? We are currently seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing our accounting department's operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities :

As an Accounting Manager, you will :

1. Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure that ensures the department's goals and objectives are accomplished.

2. Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

3. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements.

4. Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met.

5. Coordinate and complete annual audits.

6. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

7. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

8. Collaborate with the financial management team to support overall department goals and objectives.

9. Advise on the handling of non-routine reporting transactions and events.

10. Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Accounting Manager position, you must have :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting management, preferably within the construction industry.

3. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

4. Experience with creating financial statements and knowledge of posting entries.

5. Proven experience in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

6. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.

7. Excellent computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

8. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.

9. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

10. High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to direct and supervise.
