Security Project Manager

Job Summary :

We are hiring an experienced Security Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple access control and IP camera integration projects across K-12 schools and corporate office environments. This is a short-term engagement (23 months) with the potential to transition into a contract-to-hire role based on performance and project needs. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, and should have a strong technical understanding of commercial security systems including Genetec, Avigilon, Verkada, and Lenel. Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana and MS Project is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the full project lifecycle including bidding, planning, material procurement, installation oversight, and project close-out
• Monitor project timelines, progress, and deliverables across a portfolio of ongoing work
• Lead internal and external teams including technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery meets quality and performance standards
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to define scope and expectations
• Track and manage change orders, risks, and corrective actions
• Use project tracking tools (Asana, MS Project) to stay on top of schedules, budgets, and system updates
• Conduct weekly project reviews including field metrics, invoicing, AR, and project health updates
• Maintain system accuracy across documentation (proposals, POs, contracts)
• Oversee final system delivery including access control and video surveillance functionality
• Provide input on commissioning and programming when needed
