Position Summary

The Automation Tech II w orks with minimal supervision to resolve electro-mechanical issues and equipment errors on automated material handling systems and related equipment and perform repair and preventive maintenance. Performs on-site set-up programming and customer training.

Responsibilities

• Uses advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical problems
• Performs PLC troubleshooting and debugging
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings
• Performs on-site set-up programming and training
• Completes detailed reports and other paperwork
• Follows up on completed work with customers and other departments to ensure resolution
• Follows all Preventive Maintenance programs
• Completes all assigned training plans
• Complies with all safety programs policies and procedures
