Summary :

The Government Training Engineering (GTE) team is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to serve as the USN Air Dominance Principal Engineer in Berkeley Missouri.

The selected candidate will join the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) and lead engineering proposal activities supporting new business opportunities for the F / A-18 MQ-25 or T-45 platforms.

Leads planning and execution of training device projects for U.S. Navy training programs.

Oversees proposal development integration delivery and sustainment of advanced training solutions for the next generation of pilots.

Responsibilities include project management technical leadership and close collaboration with engineering and program management to deliver successful products.

Requirements :

Secret Clearance is required

Bachelors degree in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry with 9 years of experience or a Masters with 7 years or a PhD with 4 years. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

3 years of experience leading teams (formal or informal).

5 years of engineering project management experience.

Experience developing technical proposals and cost estimates.

Experience developing and tracking project plans schedules and budgets.

Up to 10% domestic travel

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications :

5 years of experience leading teams (formal or informal).

7 years of engineering project management experience.

Experience with training systems and / or Boeing military aircraft platforms.

Experience with DoD acquisition processes Foreign Military Sales or Direct Commercial Sales.

Experience with IRAD (Internal Research and Development) projects.

Cost account management or earned value management experience.

Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
