Manager Data Science

Infosys is seeking an accomplished GenAI Lead Consultant with expertise in Data Science Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI to drive transformative solutions for our financial services clients. This role combines deep technical proficiency functional domain knowledge and robust pre-sales expertise to lead complex AI / ML projects deliver innovative solutions and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will excel in the following areas : Design development and deployment of advanced machine learning and generative AI models (e.g. LLMs GANs diffusion models) to address complex financial services challenges; Performing hands-on data analysis feature engineering and model optimization to deliver high-performance solutions; Leading the creation and submission of high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Requests for Information (RFIs) and other client solicitations clearly articulating technical and business value.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Richardson TX or be willing to position may require travel in the US.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology

• Proven expertise in generative AI technologies (e.g. GPT BERT Stable Diffusion) and their application in financial services.
• Proficiency in Python R or Scala and ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn Hugging Face LangChain).
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and MLOps tools (e.g. Kubeflow MLflow SageMaker).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark Snowflake) and databases (SQL NoSQL).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone email and face to face.
