Wood & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, seeks a trial attorney with 2-10 years of experience to join our San Diego, CA office.

Karen D. Wood & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is expanding and seeks an Attorney to join the San Diego Claim Litigation office. We encourage a collaborative environment where our attorneys assist each other and have access to support staff while maintaining ownership of their files.

What You'll Do :

• Handle litigation defending clients from case inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; negotiate settlements; and advise clients.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of legal professionals and claims specialists.
• Manage a diverse caseload with opportunities to develop litigation strategy and courtroom skills.
• Attend litigation events including trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings
