About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer (CCO) to join its executive leadership team. The CCO will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a robust compliance and privacy program, with a focus on ensuring adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves regular interaction with the Board of Directors, the CEO, and various stakeholders, including medical staff, community leaders, and government agencies. The CCO will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating organizational risks, leading compliance and privacy training initiatives, and maintaining a system of management reporting on compliance issues. Candidates for the CCO position at the company must have a Master's degree and significant experience as a Chief Compliance Officer in a complex, multi-location healthcare system. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in compliance and privacy, including experience in areas such as Medicare and Medicaid billing, anti-kickback, fraud and abuse, and managed care compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, be adept at enhancing compliance and privacy training programs, and have a history of effectively engaging employees in compliance and privacy matters. The CCO will also be responsible for overseeing privacy risk assessments, ensuring the organization's compliance with privacy laws, and maintaining a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
