Clinical Faculty in Accounting

Status / Time Commitment :   Full-time with faculty rank, term appointment, 9-10-11 month appointment

The Department of Business, within the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in both online and on-campus formats, delivered through accelerated and traditional semester schedules.

This  clinical faculty position  is responsible for teaching accounting and related courses across traditional undergraduate, degree completion, and graduate programs. Courses may include  Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting , and advanced electives such as  Tax Accounting, Auditing,  and  Cost Accounting .

The position reports to the Department Chair and collaborates closely with program coordinators across all instructional levels to ensure academic consistency and student success.

Essential Functions

• Teach Accounting and other related courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.
• Communicate regularly with program faculty and adjuncts regarding program needs and direction
• Remain current with new trends and developments in her / his field of expertise
• Oversee course and accounting emphasis program development and delivery.
• Mentor students in the business major and coordinate with academic advisors to support and engage students.
• Respond to student, faculty and staff requests, needs, complaints, and / or grievances as needed in a timely manner
• Organize / supervise co-curricular activities in accounting
• Initiate relationships / partnerships with external organizations, agencies, and educational institutions to support student learning, engagement and recruitment.

$68,640-$102,053 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Fresno Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position.  Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  In addition to compensation, FPU offers a competitive benefits package.
