Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and performance of large production machinery and related systems. Strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing machines, support equipment, electrical and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements :
- Knowledg of industrial electrical systems including 277v & 480v.
- Maintenance and electrical experience
- General mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, safety protocols, and technical manuals.
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- NFPA 70E certification (a plus)
Primary Responsibilities
Perform electrical duties which can include new machine install and running conduit and wiring.Execute timely and efficient machine repairsMaintain clean and organized shop areas, inventory, tools, and suppliesAble to work with tools, pneumatics, plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical systemsUphold 5S principles to ensure cleanliness and organizationSupport mechanical system maintenance and troubleshootingComply with company safety and HESS policiesAssist with facility maintenance duties, perform other related duties as assignedPhysical Demands
Employees must be able to :
Stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 3 hours per 10-hour shift)Lift up to 25 pounds from floor to chest heightReach over and around equipment as neededRaise hands above shoulder height repeatedlySafely use laddersWORK ENVIROMENT

The work is primarily performed in a typical manufacturing environment. Wear safety attire or protective gear, when posted. may be exposed to distracting noise levels, may work within a few feet of other workers.
