Orlando Health Physician Associates invites you to explore OBGYN Hospitalist opportunities with a thriving physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system. Orlando Health provides robust operational support and resources in a collaborative work environment. Internal consultative partners include Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgery and Gynecologic Oncology. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies has been named one of the “Best Children’s Hospitals in Neonatology for 2025-2026” by U.S. News & World Report.

Practice Highlights :

  • Shift based : 14-hour shifts
  • 10 shifts a month - 5 days and 5 nights
  • Comprehensive OBGYN inpatient care
  • High volume – average of 10 deliveries per shift
  • Coverage of group's attached patients
  • Areas of coverage : L&D, post-partum, antepartum and emergent GYN cases at one hospital - Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies
  • Never work alone – 2 physicians and 2 midwives per shift

Qualifications :

  • MD / DO with Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) equivalent
  • Completion of an ACGME / AOA-accredited residency
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
  • 3 years of inpatient / hospitalist experience or fellowship preferred
