Our client, a well-established West Springfield organization is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

The Accounting Clerk will assist with both accounts payable and receivable functions, vendor documentation, and month-to-month billing activities across multiple properties. This will be a Mon-Fri 8 : 30am-5pm in-office temporary to hire opportunity with early release on Friday's at 4pm.

• Position Responsibilities :
• Manage the lifecycle of invoices from receipt through payment
• Record and track all accounts payable activity.
• Enter and process recurring online monthly payments.
• Prepare and submit quarterly tax payments.
• Maintain up-to-date W-9 forms and ensure vendor files remain accurate and complete.
• Generate and issue monthly rent invoices to tenants.
• Utilize software to reconcile payments and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Process incoming checks and direct deposits; apply payments to corresponding client accounts.
• Qualifications Needed :
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• One plus year of experience in a comparable accounting position
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
