In our one-on-one ABA setting, you'll engage directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive, center-based environment. With exceptional supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team surrounding you, you'll make a real difference every day!
Your Role as a Behavior Therapist
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy principles to help children with Autism reach their fullest potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, documenting progress for insurance notes, and incorporating feedback from your supervisor during observation sessions.
- Foster child development in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through interactive and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with a committed team to enhance treatment effectiveness, safety, and a joyful workplace atmosphere.
- Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation—whether it's running, dancing, singing silly songs, or reading a book, your enthusiasm will create a fun and inviting environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (e.g., peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for individual needs.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending to pick up items, squatting, moving swiftly on the floor, and running to maintain engagement with young children.Maintain a therapy-friendly environment by ensuring play spaces are tidy, organized, and stimulating for an enjoyable experience.Multitask effectively to balance various actions, conversations, or decisions, prioritizing safety and the needs of all parties involved.Support team cohesion as part of a center, neighborhood, and regional effort. This may involve travel to nearby centers when needed.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.You will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by finishing a 40-hour training curriculum, completing a hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the board's exam.

Associates / High School : $16.00 - $24.00Bachelors : $20.00 - $25.50Masters : $22.00 - $27.00Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience
