Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations for a large-scale workforce. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in multi-state payroll and handling complex payroll systems.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and troubleshoot payroll transfers, processing errors, and taxation matters to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Collaborate with payroll and tax teams to create, test, and implement payroll elements using comprehensive processing workflows.
• Manage end-to-end payroll testing processes to support reporting, sub-ledger functions, and compliance requirements.
• Support legal entity setup, statutory registrations, and organizational payment methods to accommodate payroll needs across the US, UK, and Canada.
• Conduct detailed testing of Oracle releases to evaluate new functionality and configurations that enhance payroll system efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide integration support for payroll-related systems.
• Develop and execute payroll flows to optimize standard operational and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and standards across multiple states and countries.
• Provide expertise in handling payroll for large-scale organizations with over 500 employees. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processes and systems.
• Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations.
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and taxation regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle payroll for organizations with more than 500 employees.
• Experience with payroll system testing and configuration.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement payroll solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
