What you will be doing
This position will be an individual contributor in AXIS modeling for annuity and life valuation.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Developing and enhancing actuarial models using AXIS software to support annuity and life valuation on both a statutory and GAAP basis
- Collaborating with cross functional teams including Actuarial, Finance and IT to gather requirements and implement model changes
- Performing model testing, valuation, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyzing and interpreting model results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements as needed
- Assisting with the implementation of Long-Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI)
- Providing support during audits and regulatory examinations, addressing inquiries, and providing documentation as necessary

What Sets You Up for Success
A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related fieldProgression towards an ASA or FSA designationAt least five years in actuarial roles is expectedStrong proficiency with AXIS modeling software with at least two years of experienceExcellent communication and influencing skillsDemonstrated experience with building and fostering relationshipsHighly organized and able to lead successful projects without supervisionStrong problem-solving skillsStrong analytical skills including the ability to quantify impacts and synthesize data from multiple sources and identify trendsExperience with US statutory and GAAP reportingWhy You'll Love Working With Us
