This role drives results in public and media relations, social media, content marketing, and reputation management. The individual will guide a team of communications professionals, shaping stories that elevate the brand presence locally and nationally. The ideal candidate must be an experienced communicator and collaborative leader who thrives in dynamic, multi‑stakeholder environments.

Pay Range

Base pay : $100,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr

Additional compensation : Annual Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute creative external communications strategies to build brand awareness and community reputation

Lead crisis and issue management communications

Cultivate media relationships and manage earned media outreach

Oversee social media engagement and serve as spokesperson as needed

Mentor and develop a high‑performing communications team

Use analytics and monitoring to inform communications strategy

Key Qualifications

8+ years of public relations / communications experience, including crisis communications

2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role

Strong writing, editing, and media relations skills (writing samples required)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with both PC and Mac platforms
