Pediatric Hospitalist - Community Hospitals - Palm Desert

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, has an immediate need for BE / BC Pediatrician or Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about a teaching position in a collegial, community based hospital system affiliated with our main campus.

This opportunity is primarily located at our community hospitals that serve the Coachella Valley, a beautiful low desert community about 50 miles east of Loma Linda. This hospital system has GME programs at one of the sites and subspecialty support and includes acute care pediatric patients in addition to well newborns. Palm Springs and Indio host the 2 hospitals that this position would primarily serve. Music, art, shopping, and plentiful outdoor activities combine with affordable housing and great schools to make this an amazing opportunity. A comprehensive benefits package along with shift differentials allow for more days off to explore SoCal! Outpatient Pediatric Primary and Acute Care clinic as well as affiliated Family Medicine clinics allow for easy transition of care and follow up. The opportunity to incorporate some clinical time at the main campus can be discussed.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and / or faculty rank : $227,000 - $265,000. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
