What You'll Do
- Support Security Programs : Assist in administering the Bank's security and fraud protection initiatives.
- Investigate Fraud : Research and analyze suspicious activity involving deposit accounts, debit / ATM cards, and other banking services.
- Collaborate with Authorities : Work closely with law enforcement and regulatory agencies on cases involving fraud or criminal activity.
- Deliver Training : Provide training on robbery procedures and fraud prevention in accordance with Bank Protection Act requirements.
- Review Risk Alerts : Monitor Verafin reports for suspicious activity and take appropriate action to mitigate fraud risk.
- Manage Card Access : Administer and maintain the bank's card access control system.
- Ensure Compliance : Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations related to security and fraud prevention.
- Provide Backup : Serve as a key backup for the Security Officer when needed.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in criminology, business, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of banking or investigative experience.Familiarity with banking regulations and security requirements.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and investigative systems.Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external agencies.Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).What We Offer
