Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Guaranteed Hours : Not guaranteed; 30 points per week equates to 40 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 full year in Adult Home Health or Hospice

License : Must have license in hand

Certifications : CPR, BLS

Must-Have : Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR, experienced in Oasis in the last 6 months or must complete a retraining course; reliable transportation, driver's license, and auto insurance

Job Description :

• Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physicians' orders and agency policies through the competent application of the nursing process.
• Responsible for the direct supervision and evaluation of Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic for home visits and periodic office meetings, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
• Expected to manage an average of 5-8 patients per day, with productivity expectations of 30 points per week.
• Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc.
• First-timers are not accepted; must have recent and relevant specialty experience.
• On-call requirements and weekend work vary; please discuss specifics during the interview.
• Must complete documentation within 24 hours of patient appointments to ensure efficient billing and patient care follow-up.
• Clinicians are required to accept all patients on their schedule, regardless of travel distance between appointments.
• Non-guaranteed hours may require flexibility to float to nearby clinics if necessary to meet financial needs.
