We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Interpret technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faulty wiring
  • Run tests on generators and other backup systems
  • Lead compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards
  • Check for and deploy upgrades of electrical components
  • Perform lighting repairs, design and installation using bucket trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts and all other types of scaffolding
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
  • Install conduits and pipe to house electrical wires and cables.
  • Ensure piping complies with electrical codes.
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
  • Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
  • Replace conduit and wiring as needed.
  • Replace circuit breakers as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Ability to read blueprints

    • Requirements :

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Posses a current Journeyman License.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment for structured cabling and high voltage wiring.
  • Reliable mode of transportation to various job sites throughout South Florida.
  • Clear criminal background record.
  • Comfortable going up ladders, bucket trucks, and scissor lifts.
