The Mobile App Developer is responsible for the development and growth of the mobile app presence for Pepperdine University. As part of Integrated Marketing Communications, this position will develop and oversee the Flutter based app developed and used for the Pepperdine Unified Mobile app and other specialized applications. The mobile app developer provides additional technological support to the web-based technology operations of the University that drive recruitment, fundraising, and community engagement.
This role will interact directly with internal customers to understand business needs and software requirements, create proof-of-concepts, and build production-quality programming code. The mobile app developer will use their mobile app development skills to support Pepperdine’s mobile platforms across the University. Major systems and initiatives involving this position include mobile app administration, mobile development, and web management and support. This position reports to the Associate Director of Development.
Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University's mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University's national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communication strategies. The Flutter mobile app developer fulfills a central role in helping the department accomplish its goals. This is a Restricted, Exempt, 40 hour per week position that may be eligible for remote or hybrid work in accordance with the University Policy Manual.
Expected Pay Range : $68,640 - $69,900 per year
