Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Schedule : 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM (includes a 30-minute break)

Assignment Duration : 59 Days

Position Summary :

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with diverse patient populations and demonstrate expertise in dysphagia assessment and rehabilitation.

Qualifications :

• Education : Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• Licensure : New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License (required).
• Certification : Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (required).
• BLS Certification (required).
• Experience : Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with diverse patient populations (required).
• Specialized Training : Competence in dysphagia evaluation and rehabilitation , including MBS and / or FEES procedures (required).
• Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills , excellent documentation accuracy , and team collaboration abilities .
