Job Description
We are seeking a skilled EDM Operator to join our dynamic team, working with state-of-the-art electro-discharge machines in a production facility. The role involves setting up and operating EDM equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production of high-value aerospace turbine engine parts.
Responsibilities
- Load and set up parts in the EDM machine.
- Inspect parts for quality throughout the production process.
- Set up and operate electro-discharge machines (EDM).
- Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects with machinery.
- Prepare logs and records documenting machine operations and daily production.
- Set up and switch jobs as required, with training provided.
- Achieve more than 98% efficiency on a daily basis, maintaining high quality standards.

Work Environment
The production facility houses over 150 EDM machines and is mostly temperature-controlled. Employees must be able to work in confined spaces and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level can be loud, and personal protective equipment is required. Our facility is designed to support a high level of productivity while ensuring employee safety and comfort.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00 / hr.
