Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia community ,  is hiring a  Culinary Assistants  to join our team. Teamwork and respect are very important to us. We are passionate about what we do and enjoy serving others. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.  No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a  Culinary Assistant  at  Apple Valley Village Health Care Center  ,  you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Culinary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Position Type :   Part-Time working various hours included weekends

Shifts Available :

Evenings 3 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM, 4 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM or 5 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM

Pay Range : $15.50 - $20.83 / hour depending on experience.

Location :   14650 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
  • Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
  • May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
  • Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications :

  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
  • Previous serving / dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!
