Marketing Supervisor

Location : Lansing, Michigan

Department : Marketing

Reports To : Marketing Director

Employment Type : Full-time

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Supervisor to lead and execute marketing initiatives for our plumbing and electric service businesses. In this role, you will develop and manage campaigns that drive local brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support customer retention. This is a key position for someone who understands both traditional and digital marketing, and who can bring creative ideas to life while staying focused on measurable results.

How you will create impact :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow residential and commercial plumbing and electrical service leads.
  • Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Facebook / Instagram, local listings).
  • Oversee vendors and agencies for company’s website, SEO , Google Ads and Google Business Profile to ensure strong online visibility and lead generation.

  • Coordinate local marketing efforts , including direct mail, door hangers, sponsorships, and community events.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and ROI using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and call tracking software.
  • Collaborate with the office and service teams to align marketing with customer needs and seasonal demand.
  • Manage the company’s social media presence and create engaging content for various platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity across all materials and platforms.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and local competition.

What makes you stand out :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience in home services or trade businesses is a plus!
  • Proven experience with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO platforms).
  • Strong understanding of local lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills are a bonus but not required.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable and organized self-starter with excellent attention to detail
