Description :
This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.
The role involves caring for patients in a 34-bed unit.
The unit provides modified total patient care to general medical and surgical patients, including surgical oncology.
Patients range from young adults to geriatric individuals.
Staff members utilize age-appropriate considerations in their care.
The team is capable of maintaining 24-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are set at 1 : 6.
The nursing staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians.
The unit uses Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment.
Experience in medical-surgical care is required.
Candidates must be certified in chemotherapy to administer related treatments.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and team-oriented.
Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
Staffing decisions are made by nursing management.
