Responsibilities
Teach a 4-4 load of core and elective classes in the Advertising and Public Relations degree program
Develop new innovative courses that align with industry demands and expectations
Supervise student projects and media, contributing to curriculum development and industry connections
Maintain regular attendance and foster harmonious working relationships with colleagues
Engage in service obligations within the School of Journalism and Strategic Media
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Advertising, Public Relations, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 15 years of combined professional leadership or executive experience in the advertising / public relations industry
Demonstrated excellence in teaching in a higher education setting or ability to teach required ADPR courses
Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development and facilitate professional development opportunities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Commitment to mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
Sustained professional experience in advertising and public relations, including involvement in relevant organizations
Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing
Record of professional awards or industry recognition
Proven track record of developing innovative courses in response to emerging industry trends
