Infrastructure Design Engineer

A company is looking for an Infrastructure Design Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure remotely. Key Responsibilities Design and create layouts for data center infrastructure, including facilities structure and equipment Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency Monitor and optimize performance of infrastructure components to meet SLAs and business requirements Required Qualifications and Education Strong knowledge of data center architecture and design requirements for networks, compute, and storage Proven experience in a colocation or telecommunications facilities engineer role in a large-scale environment Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP) are a plus
