Per Diem Ct Technician

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a per diem CT technician. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Education and Qualifications Requirements :

Graduate from a formal Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association;

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Certified by American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)

Advanced certification in Computerized Tomography

Licensed in State of New York as Radiological Technologist.

Salary : $47.00 an hour
