Pay / hours for position

Starting at $19 / hr – 8 to 10 hr shifts, Monday - Friday

Requirements of position

We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator Assistant to join our South Bend facility. In this role, you’ll support our machine operators by ensuring equipment runs smoothly and production goals are met. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work on your feet throughout the shift.

  • Clean background check required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is necessary
  • Must be confident with computer use and basic data entry
  • Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Dependable with good attendance

Responsibilities of position

  • Assist with machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance
  • Monitor machines for proper function and report any problems promptly
  • Handle materials loading and unloading efficiently
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain production flow
  • Be flexible to work overtime when necessary
