Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer - Automations : The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving challenging issues on the ServiceNow platform. This role combines business and technical expertise with excellent communication and organizational skills. You will perform proactive work and provide tactical engagement on critical issues, collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success with the ServiceNow platform. This includes being the last point of escalation within technical support, driving issues to closure, and using application / platform knowledge to assist customers and engineers with complex issues. The Technical Support Engineer addresses documentation and coding gaps using their knowledge to support engineers and customers in achieving their business goals. You will work directly with others to resolve issues and ensure all cases are vetted before reaching the engineering team. Responsibilities Include : Diagnose the entire technology stack to resolve technical issues efficiently Provide guidance on prioritizing and creating workflows to manage workload effectively Maintain excellent queue and case management skills & perform case quality checks Learn and deliver training on new products to end customers Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Product Success, Readiness Managers) Maintain technical expertise in assigned areas and assist customers accordingly Top Skills : 2+ years' experience in software engineering, especially JavaScript, HTML, CSS Experience supporting database technologies with troubleshooting skills Experience resolving complex technical issues with code-level analysis Support experience with SaaS products & integrated systems Frontend browser debugging experience Basic Java experience writing or debugging object-oriented code Why IDR? 25+ Years of proven industry experience Employee Stock Ownership Program Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Repeated winner of ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing Award Additional Details
