Job Title : Payroll Administrator
Location : St. Louis Park, MN - (This role offers hybrid flexibility, but requires weekly presence in Richfield, MN - only local applicants will be considered)
Pay Rate : $64,000 - $75,000 annually depending on applicable experience.

Addison Group is working with a well-established client looking to add a Payroll Administrator to their team. This role will focus on weekly and biweekly payroll processing. Ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations will be a key aspect on this position. The Payroll Admin will be responsible for full-cycle payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and process weekly and biweekly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company payroll regulations.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries, such as paycheck discrepancies, tax documents, and bonus payouts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, increasing efficiency within payroll operations
- Reconcile payroll taxes, garnishments, and third-party payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Administer and process 401(k) contributions, employer matches, and loan repayments.
- Support year-end payroll processes, including the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms.
- Partner with HR and department leaders to ensure accurate and timely updates for new hires, promotions, terminations, and internal transfers in Workday.
- Assist with additional payroll-related duties and projects as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed :
3+ Years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.Prior multi-state payroll processing experience is preferred.Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.Expertise in 401(k) administration, including reconciliations and funding contributions.Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across HR, finance, and payroll teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in handling employee inquiries and payroll concerns.Why Work with Addison Finance & Accounting?
