Job Overview :

We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our production team as Plastic Extrusion Machine Operators. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating extrusion machines, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and ensuring production runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.Job Duties :

  • Operate plastic extrusion machines and related production equipment.
  • Monitor extrusion lines, feed and fill resin hoppers, and ensure proper material flow.
  • Perform routine cleaning in and around assigned workstations to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Assist with setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machines when necessary.
  • Follow company safety guidelines and production procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.

Requirements :

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    • Work Conditions :

  • Position is located inside a plastic extrusion facility.
  • Environment can be warm and may include exposure to dust.
  • Ear and eye protection provided as required.

    • Shift & Schedule :

  • 3rd Shift : 7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am
  • Saturday - Sunday and you pick another day during the week.
  • Scheduled breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch.

    • Dress Code :

  • Long pants and closed-toed, non-slip shoes (tennis shoes acceptable).
  • T-shirt or appropriate work shirt required.
  • Cell phones are not permitted on the production floor.

    • Compensation :

  • Starting pay : $15.80 / hour
  • Hopper Operator : Base + $1.50 / hour
  • Line Operator : Base + $3.00 / hour
